Practical mindfulness

  • Who should do it? – Anyone suffering from stress, anxiety, low mood, negative thinking or overthinking. Take the short quizzes to find out if you are suffering from stress, anxiety or burnout.
  • What is the format? – Eight one-hour sessions over eight weeks online via Zoom. You will do 30-45 minutes of formal meditation practice per day. Each day you will integrate your stress-busting ‘toolkit’ when challenging situations arise.
  • What will I receive? – A 146-page digital handbook; access to the online course portal with downloadable guided meditations and video content; tools to manage stress, burnout, overwhelm, anxiety, negative thinking and anger.
  • What will we do? – We will develop two distinct domains: tools and resilience. We will create your personalised toolkit. You will access your toolkit when stressed, overwhelmed, or confronted with a challenge. We cultivate a daily mindfulness meditation practice to boost baseline resilience. With increased resilience, you will require less frequent access to your toolkit.
  • How much does it cost? – $880.

What are people saying?

“I just wanted to reach out to you to thank you for last Thursday’s workshop. It was a fabulous 90-minutes which I thoroughly enjoyed and took a lot of learnings away from and will hopefully implement as required. The feedback from the team has been terrific. I look forward to future sessions.”

"Thank you so much for your time and tools – it was such a lovely thing to do for everyone; clearly, we have all been experiencing a fair amount of anxiety and uncomfortableness of late! It was awesome to run the polls and break out into groups and connect on a personal level about our shared experience."
Julia Emrose

"Thank you so much for running the session for us the other day, we had some fantastic feedback from our members and I personally really enjoyed taking the time to stop and meditate with you. We can’t wait to work with you again."

What is involved?

We will follow the University of Massachusetts Medical School Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) curriculum. Still, we may find that we go in a different direction depending on your requirements. MBSR is a scientifically validated curriculum, but when we are working one-to-one it often makes sense to go in another direction.

You will learn:

  • How to meditate independently without guidance.
  • How to manage your Stress.
  • How to stop your negative thinking.
  • How to manage your reactivity and behaviour.

Why Chibs?

Following a period of severe burnout that had a disastrous effect on my mental health, I stepped down as CEO of my multimillion-dollar business to reset, recover, and repair the damage to my health.

When I discovered practical, scientifically validated tools and techniques for overcoming stress, overwhelm, difficult emotions, negative thinking, and overthinking, I knew I had to share this with others.

I’ve created a unique framework, integrating Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques from the University of Massachusetts Medical School, positive psychology tools, and years of hands-on experience working with the Vagus Nerve and nervous system.

My program focuses on two distinct domains: tools and resilience.

First, we follow a systematic process to create your personalised toolkit. You will access your toolkit when stressed, overwhelmed, or confronted with a challenge.

Second, we cultivate a daily mindfulness meditation practice to boost your baseline resilience. With increased resilience, you will require less frequent access to your toolkit

Most frequently asked questions and answers

We will meet on Zoom for eight sessions over eight weeks. Our sessions will provide training, motivation, structure and accountability. During each session, we will practice mindfulness, mindset or stress-reduction tools. Together we will create a sustainable and straightforward plan that we put into action between sessions. As well as having me by your side between sessions, you will have access to the online portal packed with tools, techniques, videos, guided meditations and other life-changing resources.

Cultivating a daily meditation practice is important; however, it is essential that you have a powerful toolkit to unlock within those moments when life becomes challenging. In addition to developing a mindfulness meditation practice, Chibs will equip you with the following tools:

Mindset Tools:

  • to manage your procrastination, fear, or resistance.
  • to stop your negative thinking.
  • to stop feelings of never-ending grudges, resentment, anger or rage.

Mindfulness Tools:

  • to manage your stress and overwhelm.
  • to build self-awareness.
  • to step out of Autopilot.
  • You will be equipped with skills to increase your wellbeing and resilience.
  • You will possess a durable toolkit to employ during challenging situations.
  • You will display healthier behaviours at home and at work.
  • You will be calmer, less stressed and more effective.
  • Your risk of burnout will be diminished.

Upon completion of the MBSR program past participants have reported:

  • a healthier mind.
  • being calmer, happier, relaxed and more confident.
  • greater emotional stability.
  • increased performance at work.
  • more fulfilling relationships.
  • better sleep.
  • a healthier body
  • less reliance on addictive behaviours.
  • increased self-worth.
  • higher self-esteem.
  • having more time to do the things they love.
  • increased ability to pay attention to the things they love.
  • better focus.
  • more engagement in life.

This program is ideal for absolute beginners. It is also useful for experienced meditators who need to get back on track with their meditation or stress-reduction practice.

This program is a practical, evidence-based, non-religious course.
