If you love the beach, meeting new people, and moving from stressed and overwhelmed to relaxed and focused, join Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Chibs Okereke at 8.45 am every Saturday for a guided meditation by the sea. We start meditating somewhere between 8.45 and 9 am, and we meditate for half an hour. After meditation, we go for breakfast in a local cafe, and all are welcome.
This weekly meditation class is free for the Sydney and Eastern Suburbs community.
If you enjoy training outdoors with fitness experts and personal trainers, you can join Chibs’ partners in crime Jerone and Joel from FitbySix for a free community Boot Camp.
The session begins at 8 am each Saturday at Arthur Byrne Reserve in front of South Maroubra Surf Club. Boot Camp is suitable for all levels of fitness.
Once you’ve got your sweat on, we take a two-minute stroll down to the beach for meditation with Chibs.
You will find us at the southern end of the beach, near South Maroubra Surf Club. The best place to park is in the Arthur Byrne Reserve Car Park next to the Surf Club. There are two surf clubs in Maroubra so make sure you find the right one!
