What is the format?

  • We will develop two distinct domains: tools and resilience.

  • We will create your personalised toolkit.

  • You will access your toolkit when stressed, overwhelmed, or challenged.

  • We cultivate a daily mindfulness meditation practice to boost baseline resilience.

  • With increased resilience, you will require less frequent access to your toolkit.

 

What is the format?

 Eight one-hour sessions over eight weeks online via Zoom. Ideally, you will do 30-45 minutes of formal meditation practice per day. Each day you will integrate your stress-busting ‘toolkit’ when challenging situations arise.

Beginner Friendly

This program is ideal for absolute beginners. It is also useful for experienced meditators who need to get back on track with their meditation or stress-reduction practice.

What do I need to know?

  • We will meet on Zoom for eight sessions over eight weeks. Our sessions will provide training, motivation, structure and accountability. During each session, we will practice mindfulness, mindset or stress-reduction tools. Together we will create a sustainable and straightforward plan that we put into action between sessions. As well as having me by your side between sessions, you will have access to the online portal packed with tools, techniques, videos, guided meditations and other life-changing resources.

  • We will follow the University of Massachusetts Medical School Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) curriculum. MBSR is a scientifically validated curriculum. You will learn the following:

    • How to meditate independently without guidance.

    • How to manage your Stress.

    • How to stop your negative thinking.

    • How to manage your reactivity and behaviour.

  • The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is widely regarded as the gold standard of mindfulness programs. Since Dr Jon Kabat-Zinn founded the 8-week MBSR program in 1979, MBSR has been the subject of rigorous research. A large and growing body of scientific evidence shows that MBSR effectively reduces stress, anxiety, and many other medical and psychological conditions.

  • Cultivating a daily meditation practice is important; however, it is essential that you have a powerful toolkit to unlock within those moments when life becomes challenging. In addition to developing a mindfulness meditation practice, Chibs will equip you with the following tools:

    Mindset Tools:

    • to manage your procrastination, fear, or resistance.

    • to stop your negative thinking.

    • to stop feelings of never-ending grudges, resentment, anger or rage.

    Mindfulness Tools:

    • to manage your stress and overwhelm.

    • to build self-awareness.

    • to step out of Autopilot.

    • You will be equipped with skills to increase your wellbeing and resilience.

    • You will possess a durable toolkit to employ during challenging situations.

    • You will display healthier behaviours at home and at work.

    • You will be calmer, less stressed and more effective.
